Clinical Experience

About Me

I graduated with my Bachelor's degree from University of California, Berkeley in 2008.  I then worked as paraprofessional in a urgent psychiatric setting and then at an inpatient psychiatric and detox facility before I made the decision to go back to school to further my education in 2010.  In the course of my graduate studies at Alliant International University, Fresno I worked in a variety of settings with children, adolescents and adults.  My research interests included understanding the adolescent experience of psychiatric treatments with medication. My clinical training afforded me the opportunity to provide brief and long term evidence-based individual, group and family therapy in residential and outpatient treatment settings.  I graduated with my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2014 and completed my post-doctoral residency in 2015 at Kaiser Psychiatry in San Rafael working with children, adolescents and adults. I worked at this facility for 7 years.  Since August of 2021 I have worked with Children's Health Council as a remote Staff psychologist and am currently working with children, teens, young adults and families providing telehealth individual and family therapy. I have worked as a licensed clinical psychologist since 2016.

I made the decision several years ago to open a private practice on Fridays to pursue my clinical interests in a new way.

My Approach

As Carl Jung said “The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed.”

I believe therapy is a collaborative process and I would welcome the opportunity to support you through a transformation that allows you to reach the goals you’ve set for yourself.
